Available Now : adidas Continental 80 grey

After originally re-releasing in both white and black this June, the adidas Continental 80—a shoe that’s drawn many a comparison to the adidas Yeezy Powerphase—has dropped in a clean grey and yellow.

Having a similar design as the Yeezy PowerPhase, this iteration features a clean Grey leather upper with Yellow and Dark Navy contrasting accents. Perforated detailing on the toes and sides adds for air-flow atop a solid Grey rubber outsole.

Originally released as a low-cut trainer, the retro-styled model is now making a return in 2018. Having already dropped in three standard white and black colorways, the Continental 80’s recently surfaced in the United Kingdom in a soft grey tone. The entire leather upper of the shoe is comprised of the tonal grey look, similar to Kanye’s grey Powerphase, though with some minor differences. For one, the two stripes running down either side stand out in bright yellow and Mystery Ink.

A mostly tonal look, a lighter shade of grey is used on the leather upper, midsole and outsole with a two-tone yellow and navy midfoot stripe and adidas branding at near the laces accenting the simple design. While additional branding on the shoe comes in the form of a navy Trefoil logo on the tongue and retro adidas Originals branding on the heel tab.

This new Continental 80 is available now at Foot Locker UK for £ 79,99-or roughly $105 USD.
